These guidelines set the standard for new and updated educational content on Decimal. They help keep our explanations practical, clear, and easy to verify.

Accuracy before publication
Calculator logic, examples, and conversion steps should be checked against the underlying mathematical method. When a result depends on approximation or rounding, the content should say so clearly.

Useful, relevant sources
When a guide needs supporting material, we prefer reliable educational or primary sources and link readers to them where the source adds value. Featured resources are labeled as independent references, not endorsements or partnerships.

Explain the method
We aim to show the path to an answer, not just the final number. Examples should use plain language, define unfamiliar terms, and make the underlying calculation easy to follow.

Review and updates
Content should be reviewed when a calculator changes, a source becomes outdated, or a reader identifies a possible error. Material corrections should be made directly in the relevant page.

Editorial independence
Educational guidance should serve the reader first. We do not present a featured resource, tool, or reference as a testimonial, award, or partnership unless that relationship is documented and clearly disclosed.
